Hi all,

In light of the recent tumblr purge and all the diaspora that has occurred between 2010 and 2018, where do you go to read small-time authors these days? Do you use Wattpad or AO3, or other sites? If you're still mainly on Dreamwidth, where do you go to get the most frequent updates, and how has formatting these evolved in the last five to eight years to stay relevant to current tastes?

Could you define how you're using the term "small-time author"?

wattpad is a HUGE hit or mess for most in terms of what LJ/DW/Tumblr type writers are used to. I usually only stick to the translated lit on there. AO3 is much better for drabbles, one shots, etc but lacks the community aspect besides writers and frequent reviewers getting close together. I haven't found any space that has quite managed the medium LJ and DW provided in terms of fandom spaces. hope that answers your questions!
